As a boundary spanner and problem solver, it has been my privilege to work with diverse experts to improve health across the globe. I bring people together in collaborative, outcome-driven processes to analyze, learn, create, make choices, and execute for impact.     

Prior to launching a consulting practice, I served as a Senior Program Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In my 10 years there, I helped to set and execute investment strategies in Pneumonia and Vaccine Delivery, contributed to the global dialog on prioritizing investments in health, and managed a portfolio of over $140M in grants. I am deeply versed in the global immunization landscape, including vaccine R&D and new vaccine introduction. Before joining the Gates Foundation, I held positions in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs in biopharmaceutical companies such as Dendreon Corporation, Chiron Corporation, and Avigen, Inc.    

I hold a Master’s in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelor’s of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  I am based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
